Destination Baie de Somme

Created on January 1, 2022, the new Régie Destination Baie de Somme, endowed with legal personality, now aims to manage and operate equipment for economic, tourist and cultural purposes.

It commercially operates cultural and leisure facilities and ensures their development.

It participates in carrying out actions to promote the territory, which is part of the desire of all local actors to strengthen the attractiveness, in particular, of the territory for tourism.

Destination Baie de Somme manages 7 tourist establishments :

- Aquaclub de Belle-Dune
- Jardins de Valloires
- Golf de Belle-Dune
- Cap Hornu, Hôtel*** Restaurant
- Maison de la Baie de Somme
- Parc du Marquenterre
- Musée Picarvie

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Board of Directors of the Régie is made up of thirteen members distributed as follows:

- 4 departmental advisers;
- 3 members representing the EPCIs within the Syndical Committee, including 1 from the Community of Municipalities of Ponthieu-Marquenterre, 1 from the Agglomeration Community of the Baie de Somme and 1 from the Community of Municipalities of Sister Cities;
- 6 qualified personalities from member municipalities of the Syndicat Mixte hosting tourist sites operated by the Régie and the former presidents of the Syndicat Mixte because of their expertise and their knowledge of local issues.
