A discovery to the rhythm of the seasons

Every season is different and you will be astonished by the surprises that it holds:
-in Spring, nature awakens. The mating parades of the elegant avocets, black-tailed godwits, … you will be filled with wonder;
NOT TO BE MISSED: The heron’s nest where, on the summit of the great black pines, more than 200 pairs of great wading birds nest (storks, paddlefish, egrets, …) coming from Mauritania, Niger, Senegal, …
-in Summer, the migration has begun, millions of small waders leaving Europe to reach Africa;
NOT TO BE MISSED: The great gatherings of common pied oystercatchers and of curlews coming to find a place to stay and cover in the midst of the prairies of the park during the strong margins of the tide
-in Autumn, the migration continues;
NOT TO BE MISSED: The spectacular migration of the sparrows (finches, siskins, thrushes) and of the birds of prey towards Southern Europe.
-in Winter, there are the great gatherings of the surface ducks (Northern pintails, common teals, wigeons…) or divers (tufted ducks, goldeneyes…).
NOT TO BE MISSED: In the prairies, the greylag geese and greater white-fronted geese are easy to observe.
