Explore the unmissable Baie de Somme

1 day

Do you have just a day for exploring the Baie de Somme?

Start with the Jardins de Valloires, to see its collection of plants unique in all of France, remarkably landscaped by Gilles Clément, an unequivocally contemporary landscape architect. Then treat yourself to an offbeat, "vegetable garden" lunch break at the Table du Jardinier. Unless you’d rather sample a few regional specialities at the Bistrot du Marquenterre, comfortably seated on the terrace or beside the fireplace.
After eating, you can wander the Parc du Marquenterre’s paths at your leisure or check out the Maison de la Baie de Somme et de l’oiseau’s exhibition rooms. You will see fascinating fauna and flora, typical of the region. To cap off your day, why not treat yourself to a gastronomic dinner at the Table du Cap and savour its skillfully prepared local products?
The perfect way to sample all that the Baie de Somme has to offer and tempt you to come back.
