The Hutte des 400 coups is ideal for bird watching

A stay at the hunting lodge brings you into the universe of the birds

Set in the middle of the Sailly-Bray marshes, the Hutte des 400 coups, directly inspired by traditional Picardy hunting lodges, will be unforgettable.

Built in 1904 by a water fowl hunting devotee, the Viscount Henri Brossin de Méré, it merges so perfectly into the landscape that only a trained eye can discern it. It is so thoroughly camouflaged that you can watch in peace and quiet as migratory birds come to rest in the marshes: snipes, teal, pintails, sandpipers, thrush, geese… You can follow the rhythm of nature and enjoy special moments at dawn and dusk to the fullest.

With sleeping for seven, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with television, a powder room and an observatory, this remarkably comfortable building will readily accommodate your family or your friends. Treat yourself to a one of a kind visit…
