Presentation of the Baie de Somme

Located in the West of the Somme region, Baie de Somme is the largest estuary in Northern France, covering almost 7,200 acres. It is an exceptional area, considered one of the most beautiful bays in the world. Its wide opening on the Chanel, measuring 5 kilometres across, changes with the seasons and tides, displaying a huge variety of landscapes where the land, sea and sky blend with subtle shades and light.
